"You're only a third"

Some people can adapt to change very quickly. Thats me. Others, not so. Some, experience new things they never thought possible, and again, this happened to me. It's actually happening right now, and I swear to you, it burns.

So, something bad happens in your life. Okay, screw it, let it go, don't think about it, live life, breathe air. Okay. Fine. My way of viewing things that go bad. Apparently though, my always-happy-always-laughing personality decided to take a rest. So im stuck into what i promised myself i wouldnt do.
Mourn over bullshit.
They say it's healthy to let it out, even psychologists argue that our self-pride is too great that talking about our feelings seems like a coward thing to do, or that it goes against our personal motives. It's hard to hear youself talk about things that SEEM so simple to fix. It's one of those "why the heck am I being so childish about this" type of thing. One of those "I sound so weak saying these things."

And then on the other side of the story, you can adapt easily to changes, but when you come to a place that holds so many memories that you made yourself store them so deep that they're practically forgotten. My mind and my heart were battling. And when the mind and the heart battle, the body gives away. And thats what happened, I gave away from him.

"Y aunque nunca te alejaste de mí
Siempre existió temor que cometas fraude mi amor
Y ahora comprendo que mi corazón
Merece una explicación
Ven a explicárselo!"

"You treat me just like another stranger"

Temptation leads you to obstacles. Simple as that. Pretty obvious, no? See, thing is, it is true when they say that we are blind. Blind in temptation. The worst part is, when you know what you are going through. You know what you're putting yourself through, but you still go for it. Wether it's for a grip on a challenge, to see how far you can go, or to prove something, either way, you're still aiming for whatever you're aiming for. Like if you've done this before, and you feel sort of pro at it. But you're not, and you know it.
Then you take a look around you. How some of them see you. You know they are thinking that you are like any other. But you "know" exactly how to play it off. And you get to see truly how they are, where all along, you also showed who you are, but with a little mix of that "stranger" they see in everyone else. And in the end what? In the end do you state who you are, and how far you go? Because remember, all along they think you're a stranger, but you're not. Hell no you're not. So what are you going to do about it? Keep with the temptation till you fall? Start all over again, hope for the best? Stand up for yourself?
 No.
You're going to become a Lady In Leather.

"Inside the skin of a dog, outside the hide of a tiger"

I never knew the personal changes one could be drawn to. I'm not talking about physical ones, but mentally...or emotionally. See, not long ago, I began going through this type of "phase"..not a self-realization one, but close. I believe I could say that depression was smothering me, but what the hell? Since when am I a depressed girl? I'm usually that chick with the smile and always making people laugh. But now, I moved to college, 4 hours away from home. Thing is, at home, I would go through shit, and I wouldn't talk COMPLETELY about the crap I'd go through, but now that i am in a new environment, with less bullshit, suddenly my emotions begin to collide. I must admit, I dont feel as strong as I am. So I guess i'm finding out where my personal limits are, and I hate it. I hate it, but I love it. It is a challenge, and it messes with you, it kills you, but somehow...it's intriguing.
They say that one grows stronger with experience. Is vulnerability another aspect of the inner strength one develops? Or possibly, maybe, just MAYBE, is love finally deciding to swim through the walls I once built, but then personally opened them?
They say that "someone, somewhere, is working harder than you, and when you meet them, they will beat you,"...
