"Inside the skin of a dog, outside the hide of a tiger"

I never knew the personal changes one could be drawn to. I'm not talking about physical ones, but mentally...or emotionally. See, not long ago, I began going through this type of "phase"..not a self-realization one, but close. I believe I could say that depression was smothering me, but what the hell? Since when am I a depressed girl? I'm usually that chick with the smile and always making people laugh. But now, I moved to college, 4 hours away from home. Thing is, at home, I would go through shit, and I wouldn't talk COMPLETELY about the crap I'd go through, but now that i am in a new environment, with less bullshit, suddenly my emotions begin to collide. I must admit, I dont feel as strong as I am. So I guess i'm finding out where my personal limits are, and I hate it. I hate it, but I love it. It is a challenge, and it messes with you, it kills you, but somehow...it's intriguing.
They say that one grows stronger with experience. Is vulnerability another aspect of the inner strength one develops? Or possibly, maybe, just MAYBE, is love finally deciding to swim through the walls I once built, but then personally opened them?
They say that "someone, somewhere, is working harder than you, and when you meet them, they will beat you,"...
